NTE PC System Requirements and Storage Checklist
NTE is the short name for Neverness to Everness, a supernatural urban open-world RPG from Hotta Studio and Perfect World Games. The official launch FAQ confirms Windows PC availability and provides the current PC hardware and storage baseline used in this checklist.
Official NTE PC requirements
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 64-bit or later | Windows 10 64-bit or later |
| Processor | Intel Core i7-10700 or equivalent | Intel Core i7-12700 or above |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 or above |
| Memory | 16 GB RAM | 32 GB RAM |
| DirectX | Version 11 | Version 12 |
| Storage | 70 GB available space | 70 GB available space |
The newer official Steam/Epic FAQ lists 16 GB RAM for minimum and 32 GB RAM for recommended PC configurations, alongside DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 respectively. These are the current published values used here; recheck the official requirements after a major client update.
Storage planning is more than the installed size
The current Steam/Epic FAQ lists 70 GB of available space for both minimum and recommended PC configurations. The launch FAQ also described an additional 60 GB temporarily required during extraction, so leave substantial headroom rather than treating 70 GB as a comfortable ceiling.
The same FAQ strongly recommends an SSD for the best PC experience. Use a healthy drive with room for updates, and avoid installing while the drive is nearly full or reporting errors.
Windows and graphics compatibility
Confirm 64-bit Windows 10 or later, then compare the CPU and GPU with the official tiers. A PC that meets the minimum may still need conservative settings, and a PC that meets the recommended tier is not guaranteed a particular frame rate.
For controlled performance troubleshooting, use the NTE PC settings and stutter checklist. It covers one-change testing, storage, overlays, and the official launcher repair path.
Use the official download channel
The official FAQ directs Windows PC users to the official NTE download link. Use that route or the current official storefront instead of a mirror or unverified installer. If you used a beta-test launcher or app, the FAQ says to fully uninstall the previous version and follow the current launch-client instructions.
Installation-path rules
If the PC launcher reports that it cannot install to the selected directory because the path does not support non-English characters, choose a path whose folder names use English characters only. Do not keep retrying the same rejected path.
If a downloaded file fails verification, retry from the launcher. If the problem persists, restart the launcher or download the game again. For network-related stalls, use the download and login troubleshooting guide.
Server and account planning
The official FAQ lists four independent servers: Asia, America, Europe, and SEA. It recommends choosing the server closest to your region for a stable, responsive experience. Account data is not shared between those servers, so verify the server before investing time in a new account.
Progress does carry across supported platforms when you sign in with the intended PWG Account. The login provider matters: the FAQ warns that different third-party login providers create separate accounts.
Conclusion
Check 64-bit Windows, compare the CPU and GPU with the official baseline, reserve both installed and extraction space, use an SSD where possible, and download through the current official route. Recheck the launch FAQ after major updates because requirements and launcher guidance are version-sensitive.
