When RAID: Shadow Legends will not load through Plarium Play, start with the least destructive checks. Protect the account first. Then separate launcher, update, login, network, and game-file problems.

Protect the account before resetting anything

If you are moving between mobile and PC, connect the game to a Plarium ID before changing clients or clearing data. Plarium warns that launching on PC without the existing account connection can create a new RAID profile.

Do not unlink accounts casually. If the problem is only a launcher crash, solve the launcher problem first. Account continuity and loading errors are separate issues.

Plarium Play will not open

First check whether the launcher is the only service that fails. Close any visible Plarium Play window, restart the PC, and try again.

If Windows shows a permission prompt, note the exact message and use the normal account prompt. Do not disable security features or make registry changes as a first step. If Plarium Play still will not open after a restart, move to the official reinstall path below rather than deleting random folders.

RAID will not launch

Confirm that Plarium Play has finished updating and that RAID was installed from an official source. A partial update, modified game files, or third-party software that interacts with the game can contribute to validation or loading errors.

Use this order:

  1. Restart Plarium Play and the PC.
  2. Check whether the game shows an update or repair state.
  3. Try launching RAID again from the Plarium Play library.
  4. Record the exact error if the game closes or never reaches the login screen.

If the launcher opens but RAID crashes after loading, update the game before changing more settings. Plarium notes that common errors may be addressed through game updates.

If RAID opens but performs poorly, use the older PC graphics settings guide for the official starting point.

Update stuck or not finishing

Check the connection first. Make sure other websites load and that the launcher is not still processing an earlier update. Restart Plarium Play and the PC, then retry the update once.

If the update fails again, check free storage and confirm that the PC meets the current baseline. Do not repeatedly interrupt the update or replace game files from an unofficial download. If the update remains stuck, use the cache reset section next. Reinstall only if the cache reset does not help.

Login or account problems

If RAID opens but the wrong profile appears, stop before creating a new account. Confirm that you are using the same Plarium ID connected to the existing profile. Plarium's Steam instructions require linking the account through Plarium Play before downloading or launching RAID through Steam.

If the password or login prompt fails, record the message and check the account credentials before reinstalling. A reinstall does not repair an account-linking mistake. If you recently changed from mobile to PC, solve the Plarium ID connection first.

For the account-safe installation sequence, see the RAID PC requirements and install guide. The RAID PC setup guide also covers account continuity and the desktop client workflow.

Loading and connection problems

If the game reaches the loading screen but stops, test another online service and restart the launcher and PC. Check whether Plarium is reporting maintenance. Repeated reinstalls will not fix a server-side outage.

Use the official client and remove one variable at a time. If the problem started after an update, record the game version and the first time the error appeared. If the error happens only in RAID, capture the message instead of assuming the whole PC is at fault.

Clear the Plarium Play cache and retry

Plarium provides a built-in cache reset. Use it before reinstalling:

  1. Open Plarium Play.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select System Preferences.
  4. Find the Troubleshooting section.
  5. Select Reset Cache, then choose Clear Now.

After the cache reset finishes, restart Plarium Play and try RAID again. Cache reset is different from deleting the game and does not replace the account-linking check above.

Reinstall the game or Plarium Play?

Reinstall the game first when Plarium Play opens normally but RAID will not load. In My Library, open the three-dot menu beside RAID, choose Uninstall, then select Install again.

Reinstall Plarium Play when the launcher itself will not open or the launcher remains broken after a game reinstall. Plarium's documented route is to open the Plarium Play installation folder, run uninstall.exe, and install the launcher again from the official Plarium website.

Before either reinstall, confirm the existing account is linked. Do not delete account data or use an unofficial file replacement as a shortcut.

When to contact Plarium Support

Contact support when the problem remains after restarting, checking maintenance, resetting the cache, and completing the appropriate reinstall. Include the exact error, when it appears, whether the game updated, and what step last worked.

Plarium asks for a screenshot of the error and crash conditions such as the game mode or Champions involved. It also documents these logs:

  • Plarium Play log: <install_path>\\PlariumPlay\\pp_log.txt
  • RAID app log: \\PlariumPlay\\StandAloneApps\\raid\\203\\log.txt

The RAID app folder name may differ by game build. Attach the logs only through the official support process. Keep the account connected while the issue is being investigated.
