RAID: Shadow Legends Graphics Settings for Older PCs
If RAID: Shadow Legends feels sluggish on an older PC, begin with the settings Plarium explicitly recommends instead of copying a preset from a different game. The official support guidance is simple: lower Graphic Quality to Medium or Low and set the Frame Rate Limit to 30 FPS.
Start with the official low-load baseline
Open the in-game options from your Avatar menu. Change Graphic Quality to Medium or Low, then set Frame Rate Limit to 30 FPS. These are documented support recommendations for older devices, so they are a safer starting point than claiming a specific result on hardware that has not been tested.
The 30 FPS limit is a setting choice, not a promise that every PC will maintain 30 FPS. If the game still stutters, continue with the workflow below rather than treating the limit as a benchmark.
Change one variable at a time
Apply the graphics-quality change first and repeat the same short activity. If the result is unclear, restore the previous value and test the frame-rate limit separately. Keeping the changes isolated makes it easier to tell whether the issue is graphics load, background activity, a driver problem, or the launcher.
Check the PC before chasing settings
Compare the machine with Plarium’s current Windows requirements: supported Windows versions, an SSE2-capable x86/x64 or Arm64 CPU, a DirectX 11-or-newer or Vulkan-capable GPU, and 8 GB of RAM. A settings adjustment cannot compensate for a system that does not meet the published baseline.
Also check for the ordinary causes of inconsistent desktop performance:
- close unnecessary background applications;
- install current graphics drivers from the GPU manufacturer;
- let the launcher finish updates before judging the game;
- watch for thermal throttling or aggressive laptop power-saving modes;
- retest after restarting the launcher and PC.
These are troubleshooting steps, not claims that a particular change will produce a fixed frame rate.
