Because Project Entropy targets hardware from over a decade ago at minimum spec, most PCs will run it without issue. When something does feel off, these are the fixes worth trying, in order.
Update your graphics drivers first
An out-of-date GPU driver is the most common cause of stutter or crashes in any DirectX 10-era title, including ones as undemanding as this one. Check for the latest driver from Nvidia, AMD or Intel before changing anything else.
Lower in-game graphics settings
Project Entropy's in-game settings menu offers the usual quality and effects toggles carried over from its mobile build. On lower-end PCs, reducing particle effects and background animation quality first is the most effective single change, since those are the elements most likely to be rendered at a higher fidelity on PC than the original mobile target assumed.
Check what else is running
Because the game is lightweight by design, performance complaints on PC are more often caused by background load — browser tabs, overlay software, or the FunPlus client's own update checks — than by the game itself. Closing unnecessary background applications resolves more "stutter" reports than any in-game setting change.
Reinstall as a last resort
If performance is inconsistent specifically after an update, a clean reinstall of the client (not your account, which is tied to your linked Google or Facebook login) resolves most residual issues. See our install and login guide for the safe way to do this without losing progress.
