Project Entropy sets an intentionally low bar for PC hardware, since it was built for mobile devices first. Here is what FunPlus actually publishes, what it leaves out, and how much storage and download size to plan for.
Minimum requirements (published)
- OS: Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit) or newer
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 or AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 4400
- DirectX: Version 10
- Storage: 8 GB available space
There is no published "recommended" tier
Unlike many Steam releases, FunPlus has not published a separate recommended specification for Project Entropy. Independent reviewers who tested the PC version describe it running smoothly on modest, years-old hardware, which is consistent with the low minimum bar above — but if you are shopping for a PC specifically for this game, treat the minimum spec as your practical target rather than assuming there is comfortable headroom above it that FunPlus has quantified.
Storage and download size
The published minimum install footprint is 8 GB. FunPlus does not publish a separate, more precise download-size figure for the PC client beyond this, so budget for the full 8 GB plus normal headroom for patches and cached data rather than expecting a smaller incremental download.
One setup step that is not hardware-related
Before you install, know that Project Entropy requires linking a Google or Facebook account and accepting FunPlus's EULA — there is no anonymous local account option. Plan on having one of those accounts ready before you start the install covered in our download and login guide.
